We are seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, vision, and execution of OCI’s DevOps platform, including capabilities such as private code repositories, connections to external repositories (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), build and deployment pipelines, and automated triggers for CI/CD workflows. As an industry-recognized expert in DevOps, you will act as a subject matter expert, defining the needs of key personas—DevOps engineers and other developers using these features—and ensuring the platform meets their requirements. You will also lead several internal build and deployment platforms used to build and deliver OCI’s own services, ensuring reliability and scalability for our cloud infrastructure.

This senior leadership role is an individual contributor position, but you will guide and mentor other Product Managers, shaping the future of OCI’s DevOps offerings. You will own the end-to-end DevOps platform, working closely with engineering, customers, and executives to deliver a world-class experience. With a deep understanding of both business and technology, you’ll make data-driven decisions to prioritize investments, articulate strategic priorities, influence cross-functional teams, and champion OCI’s leadership in the cloud-native ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

Experience: 8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI). Prior leadership roles managing complex product portfolios are required.

DevOps Expertise: Industry-recognized expert in DevOps, with deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, code repository management (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab), infrastructure as code, observability, and modern software delivery practices. Prior experience as a DevOps engineer or leading DevOps platforms is highly desirable.

Cloud-Native Proficiency: Extensive experience with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes (e.g., Oracle Kubernetes Engine), containers, and IaaS/PaaS services.

Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proven ability to prioritize investments and product features using data-driven insights, balancing customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.

Persona Expertise: Ability to define and address the needs of DevOps engineers and other developers, ensuring the platform meets diverse user requirements.

Business & Technical Acumen: Ability to balance business objectives with technical complexity, articulating value propositions for both customers and OCI.

Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor Product Managers, with a track record of driving team success and delivering impactful products.

Executive Presence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate concisely and persuasively to executives and technical audiences.

Industry Engagement: Established presence in the DevOps or cloud community, through speaking engagements, publications, patents, or contributions to open-source projects.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Define Strategic Vision: Own the long-term strategy and roadmap for OCI’s DevOps platform, including private code repositories, external repository integrations, build and deployment pipelines, and automated triggers, aligning with OCI’s goals in cloud, AI, and customer success.

Drive Data-Driven Prioritization: Choose and prioritize investments using data-driven decision-making, leveraging metrics, customer feedback, and market analysis to maximize business and customer value.

Define Personas: Articulate the needs of DevOps engineers and other developers using OCI DevOps features, ensuring the platform delivers intuitive, high-impact solutions for both personas.

Act as Subject Matter Expert: Leverage your deep DevOps expertise to articulate critical requirements, prioritize features, and guide engineering to deliver solutions across the full DevOps platform.

Lead the DevOps Platform: Oversee the complete OCI DevOps portfolio, including CI/CD pipelines, code management, observability, and integration with cloud-native services like Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), Compute, and other OCI offerings.

Lead Internal Platforms: Own several internal build and deployment platforms used to develop and deliver OCI services, ensuring they meet the needs of internal engineering teams.

Mentor Product Managers: Provide leadership and mentorship to other Product Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Engage with Customers: Partner with customers and developer communities to understand their needs, validate solutions, and drive adoption of OCI DevOps services.

Influence Executives: Communicate complex technical and business concepts with clarity and executive presence, driving alignment across senior stakeholders.

Shape Industry Trends: Represent OCI as a thought leader in DevOps, contributing to industry forums, conferences, or publications.
