Job summary

AI Security Startup is seeking a Product Manager at Senior/Principal/Director levels to own end-to-end outcomes for security-focused products serving both AI builders and defenders. You will closely partner with security researchers, translate attacker behavior into product requirements, and drive autonomous capabilities in the offensive domain.

You’ll participate directly in customer talks, shape strategy, and work with engineering to deliver high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• Cybersecurity depth with technical teams and products

• 5+ years in product or 2-3 years if offense background is strong

Every enterprise is now building its own AI apps and agents.

Almost none of them know how those agents can be attacked, what they can be tricked into doing, or how to stop it at runtime. Attackers are already using AI to move faster than security teams can respond, and the tools built to test and defend systems were designed for a different era.

The role: Product Manager | Senior, Principal or Director | AI Security

The business has two halves: companies using AI, and companies building it. You own 2 products end to end for companies building it on the offensive & defensive side.

You report to the Head of Product, alongside one other product leader who owns the other half.

You won’t be writing 30-page PRDs. Product here means owning the why and the what: a clear outcome, a 1-2 page narrative and a prototype built with care. Engineering owns the how.

• Own the strategy, roadmap and outcomes for the builder half of the business
• Your first mission is to level up their offensive product to be fully autonomous
• Work directly with the security research team on what attackers are actually doing
• Sit on customer calls and must-win deals, and turn what you hear into what gets built
• Use AI to cut through the noise: pipeline, customer signal, engineering and the field
• Make sure the field knows what to sell, and why it wins

Your buyers are AppSec teams, offensive security teams and AI architects.

What they’re looking for

• Cybersecurity depth - this industry isn't new to you, and you are at ease with technical teams & products. Ideally you have an offensive security background (red team, pentesting, adversary emulation, BAS).
• You'll likely have 5+ yrs in product - you can handle extreme ownership end to end of products, maybe you've been a 1st PM before, maybe you owned something in a larger org. If your offense background is deep, 2-3 years of product is enough.
• A builder. You prototype, you ship, and you’d rather show than tell.
• Startup DNA - You’ve built something with no playbook and lack of resources.
• AI-native. You use AI every day to work better, and have a view on where it takes the PM role.
