Camunda is seeking a Product Manager for the Camunda 8 self‑managed service, owning strategy, roadmap, and execution for deployment, configuration, and operation in customers’ environments. This role spans Kubernetes/Helm, container services, bare‑metal, air‑gapped, and on‑premises scenarios to ensure enterprise readiness and scale.

You will work with engineering, product marketing, customer success, and documentation to reduce deployment friction and improve the customer experience.

About the role

As a Product Manager for Camunda 8 self-managed service, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for how customers install, configure, and operate Camunda 8 in their own environments. This is a key role in the organization, having a direct impact on our customers' experience and the company’s strategy. This includes Kubernetes/Helm deployments, Container services, bare‑metal, air‑gapped environments, on‑premises requirements, and enterprise‑grade configuration scenarios. You will work across engineering, product marketing, customer success, and documentation to reduce deployment friction and ensure that Camunda’s self‑managed product line is enterprise‑ready, easy to adopt, and scalable.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define market‑driven vision, strategy, and product requirements focused on improving the Camunda product portfolio.
• Manage community, customer, partner, and internal feedback with an emphasis on successfully driving innovation to improve our customers experience with Camunda’s self‑managed service.
• Fully evaluate and prioritize incoming feature requests.
• Keep the self‑managed team equipped to work on the appropriate epics.
• Continuous assessment of Camunda demand, market differentiation and the competitive landscape as well as close collaboration with our Pre‑Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, and other Field teams.

What We Have to Offer

Compensation

We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition. The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. Final offers depend on skills, experience, and location, and we typically hire in the first half of the range to allow room for growth:

• United States: $143,800.00 to $231,900.00
• United Kingdom: £90,300.00 to £148,500.00
• Singapore: S$178,600.00 to S$267,900.00
• Canada: C$152,700.00 to C$251,200.00
