Job summary

Security Benefit is seeking a Product Manager to own the product direction for annuity and retirement plan forms, defining the 6–9 month roadmaps and managing a cross-disciplinary backlog. You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Sales to translate regulatory and customer needs into Initiatives and Epics.

The role requires 2–4 years of PM experience in life insurance or retirement operations, with Agile experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of product management experience in annuity, life insurance, or retirement plan operations, compliance, or a tech-enabled environment.
• Experience owning a product backlog and driving Agile ceremonies.
• Familiarity with annuity and retirement plan products and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a 6–9 month Epic roadmap for forms modernization.
• Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and leadership.
• Own end-to-end forms inventory across New Business, Compliance, and Post-Issue Changes.
• Identify opportunities based on customer needs, regulatory change, and business priorities.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and surface needs to Initiatives.
• Prioritize Epics balancing deadlines, compliance, risk, and capacity.
• Collaborate with BAs on story readiness and criteria for form changes.
• Partner with Tech Lead on Enabler Epics for forms automation.
• Drive quarterly objectives and Epic targets for QPE.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholders in the forms area.
• Represent customer needs to the delivery team.
• Define and track KPIs/OKRs and confirm value realization.
