More than 1,500 firms in 60 countries use Addepar to manage and advise on nearly $10 trillion in assets. Its open platform integrates with 650 software, data and consulting partners to power end-to-end investment operations across firms of all sizes and levels of complexity. Addepar supports clients worldwide with offices in New York City, Salt Lake City, São Paulo, London, Edinburgh, Geneva, Warsaw, Dubai, Pune and Singapore.

The Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Reference Data team, based in NYC.

Reference Data is part of the Shared Capabilities team at Addepar. Our mission is to build a scalable, efficient, and high quality data platform that integrates, connects, productionises, and distributes third‑party data content across Addepar and to our clients and partners.

Our team is organized across the entire third party reference data and security data lifecycle, including Market Data feeds and our Addepar Security Master (ASM). You will be working on building products that focus on turning raw data into the clear, well‑structured insights that help our team make better decisions, move faster, and deliver more confidently across feeds, security mastering, vendor growth, and commercial reporting.

This role requires deep data skills, rigorous thinking, and the ability to approach tasks with a builder mindset.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment‑based visas such as H-1B , F-1 /OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.

What You'll Do
  • Build data‑driven products for market data and our security master helping drive market data adoption, commercial growth by defining a clear strategy, profiling incoming vendor data and customer usage, validating use cases, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Work on projects that provide an analytical foundation for the team, conducting data investigations, ad hoc queries, and structured analyses that inform prioritisation, requirements, and product decisions.
  • Build and maintain products including data pipelines, reporting, and self‑serve dashboards that give the team and leadership visibility into dataset profitability, vendor licensing costs versus revenue, pipeline health, feed coverage, and commercial activity.
  • Develop and improve repeatable tooling and workflows for vendor usage reporting, licensing reconciliation, and entitlement tracking, helping streamline Reference Data operations and support commercial outcomes.
  • Productise monitoring for market data pipelines and operational dashboards, triaging feed errors and flagging issues to Operations and/or R&D with enough context to act.
  • Apply AI‑assisted tools to accelerate Reference Data product outcomes and analytical workflows.
Who You Are
  • 2–4 years of experience as a product owner, data analyst, business analyst, or product analyst, ideally in financial services or a data‑intensive SaaS environment where data quality and rigor matter.
  • Strong SQL skills—you can write complex queries confidently and use them as a primary tool for investigation, not just reporting.
  • Experience using AI‑assisted tools to accelerate analytical work and deliver outcomes tied to business needs.
  • Able to build reporting across multiple data sources, bringing together information such as Salesforce, finance, and operational data to produce coherent, trustworthy views; experience with data pipelines, dashboards, or automation in Databricks or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with customer and usage analytics, ideally involving financial data vendors and their content; familiarity with vendor licensing or data entitlements is a plus.
  • Ideally, knowledge of financial data concepts such as asset classes, security‑level concepts, reference data, and pricing—or a desire to learn more.
  • A builder and self‑starter who looks for opportunities to make repeatable work more scalable through reliable tools and automation. Teammates trust what you produce.
  • A clear communicator who can write up findings, document processes and tools, and present analysis to diverse audiences.
