Job summary

Atlas Search, a leading financial technology platform, is building a dedicated business for ’34 Act Registered Funds. The Product Manager will own the operational lifecycle of these funds and serve as the primary contact for GP-related matters, partnering with Relationship Management, Fund Origination, Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and more.

Qualifications

  • 5–9+ years of product or project management in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of alternative investment products and fund structures.
  • Direct experience with registered funds (e.g., interval funds, tender funds) preferred.
  • Experience with private funds and complex operational requirements.
  • Familiarity with platforms supporting alternative investments and wealth management.
  • Ability to understand firm's platform interactions with fund administrators and custodians.
  • Knowledge of Investment Company Act of 1940 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 is a plus.
  • Proven track record managing institutional client relationships and multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in internal/external stakeholder environments.
  • Direct experience in investor services or investor relations at GP or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the operational lifecycle of assigned ’34 Act Registered Funds, serving as the primary point of contact for the GP across fund-specific matters.
  • Co-manage fund launch projects in partnership with Fund Origination, coordinating structuring, documentation, operational readiness, and launch milestones.
  • Partner closely with the GP Relationship Manager to provide a coordinated and high-quality client experience.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between GP clients and internal teams including Fund Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Tax, and Technology.
  • Coordinate with GP clients and wealth management distribution partners to ensure operational readiness, resolve inquiries, and facilitate effective communication.
  • Coordinate internal reviews of fund documentation, including PPMs, LPAs, and Form 10, to ensure operational feasibility.
  • Oversee fund configuration on the platform, including share classes, fee structures, reporting requirements, and workflows.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with internal teams to validate platform functionality prior to launch.
  • Provide GP clients with market intelligence and perspective on ’34 Act fund trends, structures, and operational best practices.
  • Maintain risk and issue logs throughout fund launches and contribute to the development and improvement of operational processes and playbooks.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities while ensuring projects remain on schedule and operational issues are resolved efficiently.

Product Manager – ’34 Act Registered Funds

A leading financial technology and services platform is building a new dedicated business focused on ’34 Act Registered Funds, providing alternative investment managers with an end-to-end solution for accessing the high-net-worth wealth management market.

We are seeking a Product Manager to own the operational lifecycle of these funds. This is a high-visibility role as the primary point of contact for fund-specific matters. You'll work closely with Relationship Management, Fund Origination, Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and other internal teams to deliver a seamless experience for alternative investment managers and their distribution partners.

Qualifications

  • 5–9+ years of experience in product management, project management, fund operations, investor services, or a client-facing role within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of alternative investment products and fund structures.
  • Direct experience with registered funds, including interval funds, tender offer funds, BDCs, or similar structures, strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with private funds and complex operational requirements is highly relevant.
  • Familiarity with technology platforms supporting alternative investments, wealth management, fund administration, or investor services.
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of the firm's platform and its interaction with fund administrators, custodians, transfer agents, and other service providers.
  • Knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 is a plus, including familiarity with SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
  • Proven ability to manage sophisticated institutional client relationships with strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception through completion.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to navigate complex internal and external stakeholder environments.
  • Direct experience in investor services or investor relations at a GP or alternative investment fund preferred.
