We are looking for a Product Manager to own the ongoing success of a fund platform by determining which system capabilities, workflows, and controls should be built to support both initial product delivery and long‑term scale.

This role sits within the technology organization, reporting to the SVP of Technology Products, and is responsible for translating business outcomes into scalable product capabilities rather than bespoke implementations.

The Product Manager partners closely with business stakeholders and engineers to understand system constraints, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize investments based on ROI, risk reduction, and scalability. The role is accountable for building the platform capabilities a fund needs to operate and scale, from back‑office foundations through middle and front office workflows, delivered in a format that applies across funds rather than being rebuilt for each one. The measure of success is a fund platform that remains reliable, scalable, and economically viable at every stage of its lifecycle.

What you’ll do
  • Own end‑to‑end platform delivery for fund requirements through engineering, QA, and go‑live. You are accountable for the fund platform success, not just features shipped
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate requests, translate priorities into system‑aware platform requirements based on ROI, risk reduction, and scalability
  • Conduct user interviews and workflow observation sessions with stakeholders. Requirements must come from direct observation, not stakeholder translation.
  • Collaborate with engineering to understand system constraints, evaluate build tradeoffs, and deliver features that reduce risk and enable opportunities across funds
  • Lead scoping of critical workflows, defining interface requirements, and coordination across internal and external teams
  • Use AI natively across the product development workflow: research synthesis, spec generation, workflow automation, and prototype iteration
What we’re looking for
  • 4+ years in product management, business analysis, or a product‑adjacent role with direct exposure to fund workflows such as order management systems, execution controls, post‑trade processing, or portfolio operations tooling in an institutional setting
  • Experience working with internal platforms, trading workflows, or data systems
  • Ability to trace how business requirements interact with platform architecture, partner with engineering to shape solutions, surface hidden dependencies, challenge assumptions, and present structured tradeoffs, not just requirements capture
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments where decisions must be made with incomplete information
Who You Are
  • You communicate with precision: written requirements, verbal tradeoffs, stakeholder updates; all clear, direct, and structured
  • You default to collaboration: you bring technology team members into the problem early, not after you have already decided the solution
  • You operate with low ego: you challenge assumptions, accept being challenged, and prioritize the right outcome over being right
Differentiators
  • Experience at a hedge fund, prop trading firm, or institutional asset manager in a product or business capacity
  • Background in crypto, digital assets, or regulated financial products
  • Demonstrated use of AI as a native part of the product management workflow: accelerating research, synthesis, spec writing, and prototyping, not just as a search engine
  • Technical background or strong technical curiosity, with the ability to engage meaningfully in technical discussion

This role is based in New York City and will be expected to work from our New York office Monday - Wednesday.

(NYC only) Pursuant to Section 8-102 of title 8 of the New York City administrative code, the base salary range for this role is $135,000.00 - 150,000.00.
