Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Product Manager to own a patented pump station product manufactured at our Avon, CT facility. You will drive product strategy, market expansion, distributor relationships, and serve as the technical expert for customers across the United States.

In this hybrid role—based at the Avon plant—you'll collaborate with project management and operations to guide projects from concept through delivery, while leading proposals, site visits, and market

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
• Detailed mechanical knowledge of industrial plumbing/mechanical systems and packaging with electrical and structural components.

Responsibilities

• Drive the sales, marketing, and growth strategy for a patented pump station product sold through a nationwide distributor network.
• Serve as the product owner and subject matter expert, providing technical guidance to distributors, contractors, engineers, and end users throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors by conducting site visits, supporting project execution, resolving issues, and identifying new business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with project management and operations teams to support projects from initial quotation and product design through manufacturing, delivery, and customer handoff.
• Prepare estimates, review specifications, and assist in product design to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and project objectives.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and market events to promote products, strengthen partnerships, and expand market presence.
• Travel throughout the United States to support distributors, customers, and strategic projects while providing exceptional customer service and technical support.
• Identify opportunities for product improvements, market expansion, and revenue growth while helping preserve and advance a unique industry-leading product line.
