Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC is seeking a Product Manager for the Wealth Products & Solutions team to build a native digital brokerage experience. You will shape experiences from portfolio views to trading, aligning with both personal wealth and workplace retirement goals.

The role emphasizes customer-centric design, data-informed decision making, and collaboration with design, engineering, research, and operations to deliver impactful investing journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of product management or directly relevant digital product experience.
• Experience building or supporting consumer-facing digital products, preferably in financial services.
• Strong product judgment and ability to simplify complex financial information.
• Strong interest in customer engagement and behavior to improve adoption and retention.
• Experience defining product requirements and partnering with design on journeys and information architecture.
• Strong analytical skills with quantitative and qualitative data.
• Strong prioritization and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently drive product initiatives in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Help build and improve Empower’s native digital brokerage experience with intuitive, engaging user journeys.
• Own and support customer journeys across brokerage experiences, including positions, research, and trades.
• Identify opportunities to increase brokerage adoption, engagement, and customer value.
• Evolve brokerage capabilities to support direct-to-consumer and employer-sponsored retirement plans.
• Partner with design to simplify complex financial information and improve IA, navigation, and visuals.
• Use research, usability testing, data, and market insights to identify needs and friction points.
• Translate needs into clear product requirements and priorities with engineering and research teams.
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap by prioritizing investments based on value and feasibility.
• Connect brokerage experiences with broader Empower financial lives (retirement, planning, etc.).
• Define and track success metrics and inform ongoing optimization.
• Use qualitative/quantitative insights and agile validation to test hypotheses.
• Navigate discovery, requirements, development, compliance, launch, and post-launch cycles.
