ALM Ortho, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager for Limb Reconstruction and Osseointegration in Maine.

You will own the product lifecycle from concept to commercialization, defining requirements and coordinating with engineering, clinical, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality implants and instruments. You will analyze market and surgeon feedback, translate insights into roadmaps, and support regulatory and quality initiatives while collaborating with Sales and Marketing on launch

Qualifications

  • Experience in product management within medical devices or orthopedics.
  • Engineering or life sciences background with design/manufacturing insight.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting clinical data, market research, and customer feedback.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication with surgeons, engineers, QA, regulatory, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing and patient-specific devices.
  • Knowledge of FDA/ISO medical device standards and regulatory documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or clinical/orthopedic experience is a plus.
  • On-site work required in Maine, United States.

Role Description

The Product Manager, Limb Reconstruction & Osseointegration will oversee the lifecycle of patient‑matched orthopedic solutions within these clinical segments, from concept through commercialization. This full‑time, on‑site role in Maine, United States involves defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and coordinating with engineering, design, clinical, and manufacturing teams to deliver high‑quality implants and instruments. The individual will analyze market and clinical needs, gather surgeon and customer feedback, and translate insights into product roadmaps and development plans. Daily activities include managing project timelines, preparing product documentation and training materials, supporting regulatory and quality initiatives, and collaborating with sales and marketing on launch strategies and ongoing product support. The position also includes monitoring product performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to strategic planning for the limb reconstruction and osseointegration portfolio.

Qualifications
  • Experience in product management or related roles within medical devices, orthopedics, or healthcare technology, including product lifecycle management and roadmap development.
  • Background in engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related technical field, with the ability to understand implant design, manufacturing processes, and clinical applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for interpreting clinical data, market research, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills for working cross‑functionally with surgeons, engineers, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Experience or familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies, patient‑specific devices, or advanced software tools for medical device design is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and quality frameworks (e.g., FDA, ISO, medical device standards) and experience supporting documentation and compliance activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, business, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or clinical/orthopedic experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Maine, United States, manage multiple projects, and adapt in a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environment.
