You will translate clinical requirements and patient anatomy data into detailed design specifications, create and refine 3D models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, and quality to ensure regulatory, performance, and manufacturability targets are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; medical device design experience is a plus.
  • Experience with design engineering for orthopedic implants or precision components.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes (including additive manufacturing), and basic analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Translate clinical requirements and anatomy data into detailed design specs.
  • Create and refine 3D CAD models and drawings for implants and components.
  • Support design reviews and provide documentation for regulatory and quality teams.
  • Perform basic mechanical analyses and verify manufacturability and performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of design workflows and validation activities.
