Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Product Manager to lead the FIU investigation platform, owning its roadmap end-to-end and ensuring audits are supported by robust data lineage and change controls. You will collaborate with Compliance, IT and engineering to define done criteria and drive requirements before implementation.

The role emphasizes building regulated workflows with human-in-the-loop design, documenting decisions, and maintaining clear stakeholder updates across teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product management within financial-crime domains.
• Knowledge of AML regulation and how regulators/auditors question monitoring, filings and controls.
• Ability to discuss data flows and system design with engineers.
• Track record shipping internal tools or operational platforms that change how an operations team works.
• Clear, concise writing from PRDs and phase plans to audit walkthroughs and executive updates.
• Judgement to tell a senior stakeholder a timeline isn't realistic when requirements aren't written yet.

Responsibilities

• Own the investigation-platform roadmap end to end.
• Define "done" before build starts with acceptance criteria for Compliance.
• Get requirements in before engineering starts and align policy, monitoring rules and case management.
• Understand the pipeline well enough to challenge it: ingestion, resolution, suppression, and reconciliation.
• Make auditability a first-class requirement: audit trail, data lineage, evidence retention, reviewer attribution, change-management controls.
• Ship automation and AI into regulated workflows with governance for audits and explainability.
