Job summary

Kraken seeks a senior Product Manager to own the FIU investigation platform, shaping how alerts become cases and how evidence is documented for regulators. You will work across Compliance Operations and Core Services, partnering with engineering to ensure scalable, auditable workflows and responsible AI integration.

The role emphasizes defining done, capturing requirements early, and maintaining a collaborative cadence with stakeholders to deliver robust investigative tooling at scale.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience, including financial-crime systems like transaction monitoring or case management.
• Working knowledge of AML program examinations from regulators, internal audit and model validation.
• Technical fluency to discuss data flows and system design with engineers.
• Track record shipping internal tools or platforms that change operations.
• Clear, concise writing from PRDs to audit walkthroughs and executive updates.
• Judgment to set realistic timelines and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the investigation-platform roadmap end to end and defend it when regulators raise priorities.
• Define deliverables and acceptance criteria before build begins.
• Capture requirements before engineering starts to align policy, monitoring rules and case management.
• Understand processes before building and distinguish policy fixes from technical changes.
• Understand pipeline components and be able to explain audit trails and data lineage.
• Ensure auditability with data lineage, evidence retention and change-management controls.
• Deliver AI/automation into regulated workflows with proper controls and explainability.
• Maintain an operating rhythm with engineering and product managers and provide consistent status updates.
