Lutheran Social Services of the South, Inc. dba Upbring is seeking a Product Management Intern in Austin, TX. You will assist the product manager, engineers, and stakeholders to shape roadmaps, define requirements, conduct research, and support delivery.

A strong technical foundation and UX/UI awareness are valuable. You will collaborate across teams, participate in sprint rituals, and help translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders while gaining hands-on product discovery

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with software development concepts and product lifecycle.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Conduct market, customer, and competitor research to identify opportunities.
Partner with engineering teams to understand technical constraints and prioritize features.
Support product discovery activities, including customer interviews and usability testing.
Analyze customer feedback to identify trends and propose solutions.
Help maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, and documentation.
Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Review designs and suggest improvements in user flows and wireframes.
Other duties as assigned.
