Job summary

Industrial Scientific seeks a Product Manager to define and deliver product strategy across hardware, firmware, software, and cloud-enabled services. You will partner with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and regional teams to translate customer needs into end-to-end direction and measurable outcomes.

The role covers discovery through delivery for integrated solutions, balancing hardware and software tradeoffs, and driving lifecycle improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in product management or related technical leadership roles.
• Experience partnering with hardware, firmware, and software engineering teams and leading cross-functional delivery.
• Experience with Agile product development, backlog management, and hybrid hardware–software development models.
• Strong systems-thinking capability, with comfort managing tradeoffs across devices, connectivity, software, and services.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with product, customer, operational, and business performance data.
• Experience in B2B environments with complex, safety-critical, or connected products and global stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to influence without authority.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 25%).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Identify opportunities and define system-level requirements for integrated hardware–software solutions.
• Prioritize work across domains and ensure end-to-end delivery with quality.
• Translate customer needs into measurable product direction.
• Partner with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and regional teams.
• Lead go-to-market support and provide technical inputs for RFIs and RFPs.
• Act as product champion communicating strategy to stakeholders.
