Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically five years as a Product Owner or equivalent, implementing technology enhancements to policy administration or underwriting systems.
• Experience with insurance products.
• Successful track record with Agile methodologies.
• Applicable certifications preferred (e.g. SAFe PO/PM, CSPO or PSPO).
• Strong expertise in Large Property and Middle Market Property underwriting.
• Demonstrated curiosity and experience evaluating, piloting, or scaling AI-enabled capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports one to two Agile Scrum teams on initiatives of medium to large complexity.
• Owns, defines, and prioritizes the team backlog, establishes acceptance criteria, drives stories, and validates with customers.
• Facilitates Scrum ceremonies and ensures adherence to Scrum values.
• Leads backlog refinement and capacity planning, defines enablers to support new features.
• Builds customer and user insights throughout planning and execution, validating stories with users.
• Analyses metrics and uses feedback to guide product changes and improvements.
• Collaborates with Product Managers and other Po cohorts to align stories with program goals.
