Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for a Product Manager - Industrial to join our team located at our Racine, Mount Pleasant, or Milwaukee location in WI or our Lufkin, TX facility.

The Product Manager is responsible for the growth and development of product lines. This position oversees the growth and profitability throughout the product life cycle of global products. The role involves defining the long-term strategy of the product line and creating a product roadmap for future products and development.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
  • 5 - 10 years' experience in Product Management or Applications Engineering within a mechanical powertrain and driveline environment
Computer Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using a CRM; Salesforce CRM experience is a plus
Communication Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills to collaborate effectively with all organizational levels and external customers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for clear and concise messaging
  • Effective presentation skills for communicating products and strategies
Technical Requirements:
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems responsibly, using sound judgment and communicating solutions
  • Capability to conduct product/application training
Work Environment:
  • Work location is Southeast Wisconsin
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30-40%
Specialized Knowledge:
  • Broad technical knowledge of Twin Disc products, including engineering specifications and applications
  • Detailed knowledge of Twin Disc's markets, competitors, and their products
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and capabilities
  • Experience in researching market data and providing strategic development recommendations
  • Understanding of marketing concepts, including product launches and life-cycles
  • Proficiency in defining projects for new products, including commercial and technical details
  • Strong skills in developing pricing strategies to ensure acceptable margins
