Job summary

Scotch is seeking a Product Manager to own the in-store Android POS experience merchants rely on to ring up every sale. You’ll shape the register workflow, prioritize releases, and partner with engineering to align timing with business needs.

You’ll spend time in stores, translate merchant feedback into clear requirements, and own end-to-end releases, including release notes and field-ready guidance for support and onboarding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Experience owning a native mobile app as a product surface.
• Track record of being the only person accountable for a decision.
• Direct customer contact with merchants in-store.
• Ability to run several workstreams and tradeoffs independently.
• Clear communication for engineers, merchants, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for the in-store POS app and defend tradeoffs.
• Prioritize merchant escalations, platform work, and long-horizon bets with engineering.
• Spend time in stores to learn workflows and missing needs.
• Translate input into clear requirements describing problems and outcomes.
• Ensure the app works with hardware peripherals and unreliable networks.
• Own end-to-end releases and communicate release plans and notes.
