Job summary

Workman Labs is seeking a Product Manager II for YouTube Shorts Effects and AI to lead the AR and Generative AI effects across the Shorts camera and editor. You will shape creative expression for millions of creators and own the end-to-end experience.

You'll collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing to define roadmaps, drive go-to-market plans, and automate workflows with AI. A strong product background in consumer tech and short-form video tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years consumer product management experience.
• 3 years cross-functional work with engineering and UX teams.
• Master’s degree in technology or business (preferred).
• 3 years delivering technical presentations to executives (preferred).
• Experience automating workflows with AI (preferred).
• Knowledge of short-form video tools: CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own effects experience across Shorts camera and editor, covering segmentation, face mesh, audio, and AI transformations.
• Lead first-party and branded effects strategy; define agentic workflows to automate effect creation.
• Partner with marketing to activate trends and cultural moments with effects.
• Drive go-to-market strategies for new products and features.
