Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a product leadership professional to define roadmaps and collaborate with engineers to deliver scalable platforms and APIs. The role emphasizes shaping customer experiences, prioritizing requirements, and guiding cross-functional teams across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and implementing platforms, APIs, and/or complex customer capabilities.
• Experience working with large software engineering teams both within and outside of your domain.
• Demonstrate technical acumen; ability to influence and debate solutions with technical team members, to understand technology solutions and potential tradeoffs, and to represent technical concepts to non technical stakeholders
• Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions
• Understanding of concepts and procedures specific to own subject area

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and engineers to build custom software powering Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta brands
• Help define the product roadmap with product management counterparts and leaders to improve customer experience
• Understand upcoming capabilities and scope the customer experience
• Write robust requirements and prioritize the backlog
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver and test quality software
• Develop and manage project plans and stakeholder engagement strategies
• Build relationships with business partners and brand stakeholders, articulating product needs to diverse audiences and cross-functional partners
• Develop in-depth knowledge of industry trends and standards to introduce continual process, tool, and methodology improvements
• Identify, measure, and interpret results to validate product strategy
• Provide research, analysis, and support to identify, evaluate, and resolve strategic opportunities
