Regal Rexnord is seeking a proactive Product/Applications Specialist to grow orders for Power Efficiency Solutions. In a hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to identify pain points, size systems, and propose energy‑efficient air‑moving solutions for data centers and HVAC applications.

Responsibilities

• Commercialization: leverage portfolios to drive growth in air moving space.
• New Product Development: gather VOC data to drive requirements and cost/tech analysis.
• Pre-Sales Consulting: understand customer pains and provide system sizing recommendations.
• Develop quantified value messaging for Data Center customers (energy efficiency, reliability, integration).
• Partner with Product Management and Application Eng to recommend PES products and services.

Job description

Work Model: You’ll work in a hybrid model, onsite at your designated Regal Rexnord location at least 3 days per week (Monday-Thursday), with flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days, including Friday.

Position Overview:

The position’s mission is to increase orders and sales of Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) . Primary duties include identifying customers’ pain points, developing application-level value propositions, nurturing relationships with stakeholders, recommending technical solutions focused on (but not limited to) the Air Moving portfolio (backward curve plug fans, forward curve blowers , axial fans, etc.), and helping customers qualify RRX solutions. The successful candidate is action-oriented, a strong communicator, and a collaborative team player across multiple functions, balancing technical and business expertise . Reporting to the Senior Product Manager of Air Moving Solutions, this individual will be a critical member of the Product Management team, responsible for driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercialization : Leverage NPD and exisiting product portfolios to drive growth in the air moving space.
• New Product Development : engage in new product development to drive advanced electric motor and airflow systems. Gather formal and informal Voice of Customer data to drive internal new product requirements. Participate in project decision point reviews to drive key internal and external metrics (market pricing, cost analysis, technical spec, etc.)
• Pre-Sales Customer Consulting : build a deep understanding of customers’ pain points and system-level technical requirements to provide consulting to customers during the pre-sales phase on their applications - CRAC/CRAH, Air Handlers, Package Units, Chillers, and others. Provide system sizing recommendations.
• Solutions Value Proposition : helps develop quantified value messaging to Data Center customers based on the systems’ higher-level lifecycle benefits when customers deploy RRX Air Moving products related (but not limited to) energy efficiency, reliability, connectivity and integration, and sustainability (going beyond products’ immediate features and functions).
• Customer Qualification : partners with Product Management and Application Engineering to recommend PES products and services focused on (but not limited to) the Air Moving portfolio.
• Solutions IoT & Integration: understands architectures of HVAC applications and their connections with other systems for integration , and services of condition monitoring and predictive analytics.
• Customer Obsession : ensures an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint, facilitating positive, long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with accounts; beyond meeting customer needs, it involves anticipating those needs and continually innovating to exceed expectations.
• Competitive Analysis : Monitor competitive offerings and drive new product development initiatives allowing i nnovation with purpose .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of commercial or technical experience in electric motors, HVAC air flow and cooling, or general industrial B2B applications
• Strong presentation communication skills
• Strong/passionate customer focus
• Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
• Strong computer skills - experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint Outlook & Teams), CRM software
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working with 80/20, and Power BI
• High level of personal initiative, energy, and ownership of business results
• Commercial HVAC or Data Center HVAC application experience
