Job summary

Stripe IAM is seeking a product leader to define the vision and roadmap for accessing Stripe accounts—for principals, humans, agents, and apps. You will engage founders, admins, and developers to shape a secure, scalable access experience across the platform.

You will balance usability and security, making trade-offs that scale from solo founders to Fortune 500 companies. The role emphasizes collaboration with multiple product groups to deliver a world-class authorization experience.

Qualifications

5+ years in product management shipping platform or infrastructure.
Background in security, identity, auth, or developer platforms.
Habit of talking to users to uncover real problems, not the reported ones.
Technical fluency to work with engineers on authorization and authentication design.
Bias toward experimentation over big-bang launches.
Comfort directing work in an area still being invented across teams you don’t manage.

Responsibilities

Design the experience of granting access, everywhere.
Define how agents authenticate and what they may do, including approvals.
Drive least privilege with roles and smart defaults.
Pioneer secretless authentication (Workload Identity Federation).
Collaborate across Dashboard, API Platform, Security, Payments and Money Movement.
Run experiments and iterate based on real usage data.
