Job summary

Stripe is seeking a senior product leader to own the vision and roadmap for access to Stripe accounts. You will work directly with founders, admins, and developers to define authentication, authorization, and least-privilege experiences that scale across Dashboard, API Platform, Security, and Payments.

You will balance usability and security, push for secretless authentication, and partner with multiple Stripe teams to ship impactful, secure features at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, shipping platform or infrastructure products that other teams build on.
• Background in security, identity, auth, or developer platforms, or serious curiosity about the space.
• A habit of talking to users to find the real problem, not the reported one.
• Technical fluency to go deep with engineers on authorization and authentication design.
• A bias toward experimentation over big-bang launches.
• Comfort setting direction in a space that's still being invented, across teams you don't manage.

Responsibilities

• Design the access experience for Stripe accounts across signup, invitations, API keys, and third-party apps.
• Define how agents authenticate and what they can do, with governance and approvals.
• Develop least privilege models and usage-based defaults to simplify secure choices.
• Push for passwordless authentication and Workload Identity Federation as the standard.
• Collaborate with teams across Dashboard, API Platform, Security, Payments and Money Movement.
• Run experiments, observe usage, and iterate quickly rather than large upfront plans.
