Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Product Manager I to drive product strategy and lifecycle in the Cleveland campus. You will collaborate with sales, development, operations and sourcing to grow profitable product lines.

You will conduct market research, define objectives, and lead cross-functional projects to deliver new products and enhancements, while supporting pricing, marketing and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in product management, marketing and/or business strategy development.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated success in developing product strategies and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical expertise for product categories and serve as subject matter expert for internal and external customers.
• Conduct market research with end users and distribution partners to identify challenges and opportunities.
• Analyze financial, technological and regulatory trends affecting customer needs.
• Define strategic outlook for product categories and set objectives to manage health of categories.
• Execute roadmap for product categories through new product introductions and line extensions.
• Manage lifecycle of products from ideation to obsolescence.
• Lead product development projects via stage-gate process with VOC interviews.
• Support go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with Brand/Channel teams to define value propositions.
