Job summary

Aria Networks, Inc. seeks aSenior Hardware Product Manager to own the product strategy and lifecycle for networking hardware behind AI/ML clusters.

You will define system-level requirements, drive concepts to production, and provide field-ready positioning against alternatives while tackling complex tradeoffs and bringing

Qualifications

• 8+ years in networking, infrastructure, or hardware systems.
• 3+ years as a product manager owning hardware requirements and delivery.
• Experience with modular chassis, fixed switches/routers, or high-speed Ethernet.
• Strong written specs and clear communication with engineers and GTM.
• Familiarity with hyperscalers or AI-focused networks is a plus.

Aria Networks builds switches paired with a telemetry-centric software intelligence layer purpose-built for AI/ML clusters. As a Senior Hardware Product Manager, you will own the product strategy and lifecycle for the networking hardware behind modern AI clusters. You sit between customers, hardware engineering, contract manufacturing, and GTM, accountable for shipping hardware that wins design-ins on technical merit and total cost of ownership. This is a hands‑on role, not backlog management: you define system-level requirements, drive concepts to production, and equip the field with clear positioning against the alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-generation hardware SKU strategy
• Run continuous market, competitive, and customer research, turning signals into roadmap prioritization
• Partner with hardware engineering, software engineering, and suppliers from concept through EVT, DVT, PVT, and GA
• Make explicit tradeoffs across performance, cost, schedule, supply risk, and manufacturability
• Drive issue triage during bring‑up, keeping quality and schedule visible to leadership
• Engage design partners to validate use cases, especially GPU cluster and high‑radix fabric deployments
• Manage relationships with key silicon, optics, and ODM/CM partners
• Lead launch planning: positioning, pricing inputs, competitive battlecards, sales enablement, and customer‑facing collateral
• Coordinate upgrades, mid‑life refreshes, and end‑of‑life without stranding customers or inventory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years in networking, infrastructure, or hardware systems, including at least 3+ years as a product manager owning hardware requirements and delivery
• Direct experience with one or more of: modular chassis, fixed white‑box switches or routers, high‑speed Ethernet systems, or network ASIC‑based platforms
• Fluency in data center networking fundamentals: Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing and switching
• Proven ability to drive cross‑functional NPI with engineering, manufacturing, and ODM partners
• Strong written specs and crisp verbal communication with both principal engineers and non‑technical GTM stakeholders
• Low ego, high ownership: rolls up sleeves, escalates early, documents the tradeoff
• Range to work across the BOM, the datasheet, and the customer architecture review
• Experience selling into or building for hyperscalers, AI neoclouds, or tier-1 service providers is a plus
• Hands‑on or prior engineering background in hardware, systems, or network OS is a plus, with certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIE welcome but not required
• Familiarity with merchant silicon ecosystems, OCP‑style designs, disaggregated networking and SONiC/NOS partnerships, optics/DAC/AEC choices, and rack‑level power and thermal limits is a plus
• Exposure to AI/ML cluster networking is a plus: scale‑up vs. scale‑out, backend fabric requirements, latency and jitter sensitivity, RoCE/RDMA, and congestion control
