Job summary

Merck is seeking an experienced HRIT Product Manager to lead strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Global Talent Management solutions, including Recruiting, Talent Management, Onboarding, Offboarding, DEI, Career Development, and Employee Experience. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, HR, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years in HR Technology, Product Management, Business Analysis, or HRIS delivery.
  • 5+ years with Workday Recruiting and Talent Management.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, performance, succession, skills, learning, and career development processes.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across IT and business.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and product management practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced HRIT Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Global Talent Management solutions, including Recruiting, Talent Management, Onboarding, Offboarding, DE&I, Career Development, and Employee Experience. This role will partner closely with HR solutions leaders, business stakeholders, and technology teams to deliver scalable, innovative, and AI-enabled workforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the product roadmap and lifecycle for Talent Management and Recruiting technologies.
  • Partner with HR CoEs and business leaders to define priorities, requirements, and solution strategies.
  • Serve as the functional SME for Workday Recruiting and Talent Management.
  • Lead workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement gathering activities.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with architecture, integration, and development teams on end-to-end solution design and delivery.
  • Drive Agile delivery, backlog prioritization, testing, deployments, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and implement new capabilities, including AI, automation, and workforce intelligence solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, audit, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and support production operations, issue resolution, and enhancement delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, HR, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR Technology, Product Management, Business Analysis, or HRIS delivery.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday Recruiting and Talent Management.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, performance, succession, skills, learning, and career development processes.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence decisions across business and IT organizations.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and product management practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Recruiting and/or Talent Management certification.
  • Experience with AI‑enabled HR solutions, talent intelligence, or workforce analytics platforms.
  • Understanding of HR integrations, APIs, reporting, and data management.
  • Product Management, Agile, Cloud, or AI certifications are a plus.

Salary

The salary range for this role is $117,000.00 - $184,200.00

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
