Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive strategy for RF, DSP, and FPGA-based embedded computing products. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and product strategy, shaping next-generation rugged solutions for defense, aerospace, industrial, and commercial applications where performance matters.

You will own multi-year roadmaps, translate complex requirements into clear product specs, build business cases, and lead concept definition through product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• 7+ years in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics or related defense/embedded tech markets.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into product requirements and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain product strategy for RF/DSP/FPGA solutions within the portfolio.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs, trends, and business objectives.
• Translate system requirements into product strategies and requirements.
• Develop business cases for new products and present to leadership.
• Lead concept definition and support NPI from requirements to launch.
• Evaluate competitive products and relevant architectures/form factors.
• Manage product-line financial performance including revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with engineering to define requirements and priorities.
• Engage with sales, customers, and partners to identify market opportunities.
• Prepare technical presentations, collateral, and training materials.
