Job summary

Advita Ortho is seeking a Product Manager for Foot & Ankle in Gainesville, FL. You will oversee lifecycle management for implants and instruments, coordinate market analyses, and support educational activities for field teams and surgeons.

Travel 30–40% of the time to engage with hospitals and surgeons, developing pricing strategies and cross-functional collaboration. You will work within Marketing, Extremities, reporting to the Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3 years of marketing/product management experience in the orthopedic joint reconstruction field (ideally related to a Foot & Ankle line).
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to travel 30-40% of job.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the lifecycle of existing and new implants, instruments, and biologic products; help with product literature.
• Leads management of several smaller product lines or a single larger line.
• Develop market and competitive product analyses; provide field education and assist with regulatory follow-up.
• Support selling activities through field training, visits and case coverage for surgeons and agents.
• Develop relationships with orthopedic surgeons and staff to understand needs while adhering to ethics and legal guidelines.
• Forecast product sample inventory; participate in project teams for new product development.
• Develop annual marketing plans and oversee implementation and related activities.
• Contribute to pricing strategy development and product training programs.
• Provide marketing expertise to cross-functional teams and field personnel.

The Advita Ortho Product Marketing Team exists to drive products to market and empower the sales organization to achieve company sales goals. We do this by understanding our customers’ needs through direct interaction and market analysis, actively and accurately conveying those needs into product definition and development in collaboration with E&D, creating and communicating powerful product messages to our customers and provide effective training on our products. Key Responsibilities

For the Foot & Ankle product Line:

• Assist in the management of the life cycle of existing and new implants and instruments or biological products as well as product related literature.
• Leads all management of several smaller product lines or a single larger product line.
• Assist in the development of market and competitive product analysis.
• Provide field education and assist with follow up on regulatory issues.
• Support the selling activities through assisting with field training, field visits and case coverage, etc. for established surgeons and agents.
• Develop working relations with leading orthopedic surgeons and staff to analyze their needs and maintain a dialog for current information while abiding by the Advita Code of Ethics and all applicable legal guidelines.
• Plan and forecast product sample inventory.
• Serve on project teams to support new product development.
• Develop annual marketing plans and oversee implementation and other tactical related activities.
• Develop and recommend annual pricing strategies.
• Contributes to individual module development and presentation of product training programs.
• Provide marketing expertise to the Multi Skill Teams.
• Contribute ideas and offer solutions to critical team & departmental issues.
• Communicate product related sales support information to field sales force in the form of Product Updates and other documents.
• Provide technical expertise to agents, reps, and surgeons to improve patient outcomes.
• Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
• Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s Degree preferred

Experience:

• 3 years of experience in marketing/product management in the orthopedic joint reconstruction field (ideally related to a Foot & Ankle line).

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Organizational & interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of windows-based office productivity tools including word processor and spreadsheet.
• Ability to meet the medical requirements to gain entry into individual hospitals and hospital systems as needed to observe surgical procedures.
• Ability to travel 30-40% of job.
