Job summary

University of California, Office of the President is seeking a Product Development Manager 1 to lead the strategy and roadmap for systemwide financial and budget applications, including Oracle Financials and EPBCS. The role partners with Finance, Budget, and IT to enable automation and efficient operations.

You will guide a team of BSAs, align priorities with executive goals, and drive cross‑functional changes across UCOP and campus locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in product or senior business-analyst roles focused on financial/budget apps.
• Experience leading finance management technology projects and cloud-based financial applications.
• Knowledge of budgeting methodologies, financial forecasting, and cost allocation.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the technology strategy and roadmap for financial and budget systems, including Oracle Financials and EPBCS.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Finance, IT, and Budget leadership to drive automation and process improvements.
• Direct business analysts to document requirements and ensure alignment with product objectives.
• Manage change, vendor relationships, and system modernization initiatives across campus locations.
