Job summary

University of California, Office of the President, seeks a Product Development Manager 1 to lead strategy and roadmap for systemwide financial and budget applications. You will partner with Finance, IT, and Budget leadership to drive modernization, automation, and process improvements across Oracle Financials and EPBCS.

This role requires 10+ years in finance/IT product roles, strong leadership of BSAs, and experience delivering cloud-based financial solutions.

Qualifications

Min 10 years of relevant experience, inclusive of at least 5 years as a Product Manager, Senior Business Analyst, or similar role focused on financial and budget applications.
Demonstrated experience providing product management leadership for finance management technology including cloud-based financial applications and financial/budget data integration.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including finance, budget, IT, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the technology strategy and roadmap for financial and budget systems, including Oracle Financials (ERP, FCCS, EPBCS, ARCS, EDMCS).
Engage stakeholders across Finance, Budget, IT, Procurement and Accounting to prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
Lead business analysts to gather requirements and align solution delivery with objectives.
Coordinate with vendors and third-party suppliers including Oracle for best-in-class solutions.
Define and maintain maintenance and enhancement roadmap for Oracle Financials and EPBCS; support forecasting and cost allocation.
Document processes and reports; provide updates to leadership on financial technology initiatives.
