Amphenol Aerospace is seeking a Product Manager (Board/Filter) to lead and execute the strategy for the Sidney, NY product line. The role requires deep product knowledge, engagement with key accounts, pricing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth.

The position involves constant interaction with sales, mar-com, and distribution teams, a willingness to travel about 25%, and a focus on profitability and market leadership in connectors and embedded electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, plus two years directly related experience.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience with board to board connectors and embedded electronics is a plus.
• Interfaces at all levels of departmental and management team at Amphenol Aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute monthly order goals; assisting sales in order closure.
• Target and implement cost reduction opportunities.
• Identify and lead NPI activities to proliferate new connectors & technologies.
• Maintain technical expertise on product line.
• Manage strategic inventory releases to maximize profit and sales.
• Review incoming margins daily, driving actions as needed.
• Meet margin expectations for both orders and revenue.
• Establish and maintain pricing guidelines.
• Provide pricing for corporate contracts, maximizing both share and profit.
• Create and track cost estimates on new product.
• Utilize mar-com team to develop content across web, print and multi-media platforms.
• Develop regular promotional plans for product line.
• Regularly visit key customers.
• Lead pricing decisions that maximize Amphenol share and profit.
• Develop and identify channel strategy with distribution and OEM sales teams.
• Interface with distributors and distribution sales team to maximize Amphenol's share of the shelf.
• Support training efforts for both direct sales and distribution teams.
