GlobalFoundries is seeking a Product Manager to define the Atlas Explorer roadmap and drive adoption of its software-first hardware co-design platform. You will engage embedded SW engineers, SoC architects, CI/CD owners, and cross‑functional teams to deliver valuable features and data‑driven updates.

The role blends software optimization, semiconductor design, and developer tooling at scale, requiring strong communication skills and startup‑minded adaptability.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a software engineer and Technical Lead on 2+ projects/programs.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager and bootstrapped a new product/ technology initiative.
  • Strong technical fluency in ISA, C/C++ compilers, and semiconductor simulation solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with AI inference and model runtime optimization for developer tools.
  • Experience with data visualization best practices or tools for transforming performance data into insights.
  • Understanding state-of-the-art pre-silicon methodologies for design, verification/validation, virtual prototyping, or RTL performance modeling.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/EE or related field from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Product Feature Backlog: Define, prioritize, and groom epics, features, and user stories.
  • Shape the Roadmap: Build a 12–18 month roadmap aligned with IP roadmaps and customer needs.
  • Represent the User: Understand target users through usage analytics and beta programs and translate insights into requirements.
  • Ship Value Frequently: Run agile ceremonies to deliver incremental value such as reports, workflows, and Python API capabilities.
  • Data‑Driven Prioritization: Define success metrics and use telemetry to iterate quickly.
  • Support Customer Programs: Coordinate early-access/co-design with strategic customers and partners.
  • Go‑to‑Market Readiness: Collaborate on value proposition and key capabilities for GTM.
