Job summary

Sonar is seeking a Product Manager in San Mateo to drive the Gitar roadmap, growing it from a stand-alone product to a core part of Sonar's verification platform. You will work hands-on with the Gitar founding team and the wider engineering org to shape strategy and prioritize needs of developers and engineering leaders evaluating agentic code review.

Qualifications

• Experience in software product management for developer tools or AI-native products.
• Ability to translate market trends into clear product roadmaps.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, sales, and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to agentic code review vision and communicate internally and externally.
• Research, clarify, and prioritize opportunities to build the Gitar roadmap.
• Interact directly with users to gather feedback and identify opportunities.
• Ensure enterprise trust requirements (self-hosted deployment, SOC 2, data residency).
• Develop understanding of competitive landscape and position differentiation.
• Work with other product managers to design cross-product features.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success to support deals and enablement.
• Help the Product Management team grow in tools and processes.
• Attend conferences and give talks if you like.
