Job summary

SonarSource in San Mateo is seeking a Product Manager to drive the roadmap for Gitar, our agentic code review platform. You will work hands-on with the Gitar founding team to scale Gitar from standalone product to a core part of Sonar's verification platform.

You will shape how Gitar evolves, translate competitive insights into positioning, and align with Sonar's broader products and teams to reflect customer needs today and future integration with SonarQube offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience in software product management for developer tools, DevOps, CI/CD, or code review/quality products.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, sales, and marketing.
• Familiar with AI technologies powering coding agents (LLMs, agent harnesses) and how they plan, call tools, and act.
• Understanding AI/LLM-based products, including trust, safety, and data-handling for enterprise buyers.
• Highly autonomous, pragmatic, and customer-focused; comfortable partnering with founders and a fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the agentic code review vision and communicate it internally and externally.
• Research, clarify, and prioritize opportunities to build and maintain Gitar's roadmap.
• Interact with users/customers to gather feedback and identify opportunities.
• Ensure Gitar meets enterprise trust requirements (self-hosted, SOC 2, data residency).
• Develop understanding of competitive landscape and translate into differentiation.
• Collaborate with other product managers to design cross-product features.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success to support deals and enablement content.
• Help Product Management grow the team's tools and processes.
• Attend conferences and give talks if you like.
