Squid AI helps enterprises modernize in place and without disruption by providing both configurable, turnkey, private AI agents based on their own data and an AI agent platform for custom AI agent development.
Our platform seamlessly connects with any LLM, API, SaaS services, or databases and comes with enterprise-grade security and controls so enterprise customers can build scalable, secure AI agents with ease and at a fraction of the costs it would take to do it on their own.

Key responsibilities:

• We are looking for a strong individual contributor to join as a product manager on our team. This person will have an outsized impact on the success of Squid by helping us to craft a roadmap of AI agents and an AI agent platform.
• Represent Squid AI, and communicate and educate the market about enterprise AI agents and our thought leadership to prospects, customers, and users, including at events.
• Listen closely to customers and users and build trust to help them navigate the fear, organizational and change management that naturally comes along with adopting a new technology.
• Help define and communicate roadmaps for our AI agent platform and configurable AI agents.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in startup environments
• A deep understanding of the latest AI technology and best practices (RAG, chunking, embedding, data, benchmarking, feedback loops)
• A track record of working with Global 2000 enterprise companies
• A background in developing SaaS, infrastructure, and/or platforms
• Prior dev/coding experience (even if you don’t do it actively today)
• A very deep interest in applying Generative AI to real-world problems that solve real customer pain points
• Recognition that building AI products isn’t just about using cool technology but about being compassionate and meeting customers where they are.
• Exceptional external and internal communication skills (crucial for our remote-friendly team). Can confidently present to a C-level audience.
• Strong drive to create something amazing by working closely with engineers, design, marketing, and sales.
• You’re unorthodox, creative, even contrarian, but also have great judgment
• You excel at getting things done but are also curious and love to learn.
• Ability to laugh, not take yourself too seriously and always keep a sense of humor and perspective!
