Job Description

As a Remote Product Manager at Moen, you'll be the go-to expert for our shower product line, focusing on major retailers. You'll manage the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning and market analysis to product launches and discontinuations. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to develop and execute a 3-year product plan, drive revenue and margin through pricing strategies, and ensure our products align with brand objectives. You'll also provide critical input for situation analysis, lead cross-functional product development teams, and partner with Channel Marketing to establish go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building solid and long-term relationships and maintaining regular communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Understand customer needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment between customer expectations and delivery outcomes.
  • Manage customer expectations regarding scope, timelines, and delivery, ensuring transparency and open communication throughout the engagement.
  • Require deep knowledge of customer contracts to ensure thorough auditing and verification that all organizational commitments are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular customer/partner meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and adjust priorities to meet changing customer needs.
  • Demonstrate completed work at the end of each iteration, gathering feedback from stakeholders and customers to ensure the product meets expectations.
  • Manage the product backlog through creation of user stories, refinement, prioritization, and communication.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) to keep the team aligned and focused on product goals.
  • Identify and manage risks throughout the product and project lifecycle, developing mitigation plans as needed.
  • Manage scope, ensuring changes are communicated effectively and not negatively impacting delivery timelines or customer expectations.
  • Gather estimates and communicate delivery schedules based on team capacity and project scope, providing visibility to customers and internal teams.
  • Coordinate dependencies across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of work.
  • Be the primary purveyor of run book content and release notes/documentation.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and communicate deployments.

Who You Are:

  • Curious & Empathetic: You ask “Why?” more than “How?” and genuinely enjoy understanding people’s needs.
  • Data & Story-Driven: You can read a chart but also tell the human story behind the numbers.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You thrive on cross-team energy, lifting others up as you push projects forward.
  • Self-Starter: You manage your own time, set priorities, and don’t need someone looking over your shoulder.
  • Experience: 2+ years in product management.
  • 100% Remote & Flexible: Work the hours that let you do your best work (and take that midday surf session!).
  • Professional Growth: Regular coaching, a budget for courses & conferences, and room to grow.
  • Home Office Stipend: We help you build a workspace that doesn’t feel like a closet.
  • Health & Wellness: Coverage that keeps you—and your dog—feeling good.
  • Team Rituals: Virtual coffee breaks, monthly “show & tell,” and an annual retreat (when travel’s back on)
