Job description

Join our growing team at Vetcove, and help us transform how veterinarians buy the supplies they need to keep America's pets healthy. Vetcove's eCommerce and mobile platforms enable veterinary practices to compare and buy from all of their vendors in one place. Our community of more than 17,000 veterinary hospitals employs tens of thousands of veterinarians, and delivers care to many millions of animals every year across all 50 states. We’re a growing team on a mission to modernize the $50B+ animal health industry. Simply put, Vetcove helps veterinary organizations spend more time giving care, and less time shopping and comparing across vendors to supply their practices. Vetcove is a Y Combinator and venture-backed growth stage company with notable investors in Silicon Valley and NYC. We're looking for exceptionally talented and passionate people to join our growing team.

About the Position

As a Product Manager at Vetcove, you’ll be at the heart of enhancing the platforms that power veterinary clinics and their pet parents. You will drive initiatives to enhance the user experience, monitor product feedback, manage quality assurance testing and tackle any roadblocks to customer expansions. You will work closely with internal team members including account managers, onboarding associates, engineering, and support. You will also have relationships with external stakeholders, including veterinary clinics and pet parents. You will play a key role in assessing and identifying strengths, opportunities, and risks associated with software products and services.

This isn’t just another product role—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of a platform trusted by thousands of veterinary professionals. If you're passionate about solving meaningful challenges, improving user experiences, and collaborating across teams, we’d love to have you on board.

About Our Team

We’re a fast-moving team solving big challenges in an industry rapidly embracing technology. Our platform powers the day-to-day operations of veterinary clinics, from medical records to online shopping, but our mission goes beyond software—we’re creating a better, more efficient way for clinics to serve their patients

As a Product Associate, you’ll work closely with engineers, onboarding specialists, and support teams to bridge the gap between product and users. Your insights will drive improvements, ensuring our platform evolves to meet the ever-changing needs of veterinary clinics and pet parents.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Product Enhancements: Monitor long-term projects for optimization opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

  • Turn Feedback into Action: Collect and evaluate user feedback through surveys and direct interactions with veterinary clinics and pet parents.

  • Support Key Initiatives: Collaborate with onboarding and support teams to remove roadblocks and create seamless customer experiences.

  • Shape Product Documentation: Build out feature documentation to align business and engineering teams on new and existing functionality.

  • Lead Small Feature Developments: Manage 1-2 low to mid-level feature builds, defining requirements, ensuring smooth engineering handoffs, and conducting QA testing.

  • Train Internal Teams: Educate departments on new product features to ensure consistency in customer interactions and maximize feature adoption.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience & Skills: A four-year college degree with a track record of managing multiple projects and priorities.

  • Attention to Detail: You have a knack for catching the smallest inconsistencies and ensuring high-quality output across projects.

  • Strong Communicator: You can distill complex ideas into simple, actionable insights and build consensus across teams.

  • Critical Thinker: You love diving into data, interpreting trends, and proposing data-driven solutions. Some experience with Excel and data analytics platforms preferred.

  • Organization Pro: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities without missing a beat.

  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with Excel and data analytics platforms is a plus.

Benefits (Full Time Roles)

  • 100% remote within the USA

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

  • Automatic 401k contribution

  • Employee referral program

  • At home office set up

  • Bi-annual company retreats

  • Open vacation policy

  • Equity

  • Monthly team events
