The right candidate understands how healthcare organizations manage staff availability, shift coverage, qualifications, scheduling conflicts, and urgent staffing needs. This is a hands-on product leadership role with meaningful ownership and influence over the direction of the platform.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, and at least five years of product management experience. Demonstrated experience building or managing software products from concept through launch is required, along with a strong background in healthcare technology, healthcare SaaS, or healthcare software.
Qualified candidates will bring experience with workforce management, healthcare scheduling, staffing platforms, or resource management software; a strong understanding of healthcare workflows; and the ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering and UX/UI teams. You should be comfortable with Agile development, roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, product requirements, and feature specifications. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Experience in hospitals, home health, skilled nursing, outpatient therapy, or other healthcare settings is an advantage. Familiarity with AI-enabled scheduling, automation, workforce matching, APIs, HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, data privacy, and multi-tenant SaaS platforms is also valuable. Experience taking an early-stage product from MVP to commercial launch is preferred.
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for Flexzo's healthcare scheduling platform. Lead product development from customer discovery and requirements gathering through delivery, launch, and optimization. Translate business objectives, customer feedback, and operational needs into clear requirements, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and development priorities.
Design scheduling capabilities that address shift coverage, clinician availability, credential requirements, scheduling conflicts, and last-minute staffing demands. Identify opportunities to match qualified professionals with open shifts and reduce manual work through automation and AI. Ensure workflows support healthcare facilities, staffing organizations, recruiters, administrators, and clinicians.
Work closely with engineering, design, and technical leadership through planning, development, testing, and release management. Evaluate potential integrations with healthcare, HR, and credentialing systems.
Conduct customer and market research, assess competing solutions, and use product analytics and stakeholder feedback to identify improvements and differentiation.
Establish success metrics and monitor adoption, engagement, user satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Maintain product documentation and communicate progress, decisions, and outcomes to stakeholders.
