isolved is seeking a Product Manager to partner with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features for Payroll and Tax solutions, shaping the product roadmap through customer feedback, regulatory changes, and market research.

You will translate business needs into concrete requirements, work with Engineering on user stories, API specs, and integrations, and drive end-to-end delivery across payroll, tax, and compliance services.

Qualifications

Job Description

As a member of our Product Management team, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define and prioritize features that enhance our Payroll and Tax solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the product roadmap by gathering and analyzing requirements from multiple sources, including customer feedback, market and regulatory changes, industry research, usability studies, and competitive analysis.


As a technical product expert with strong communication skills, you will translate business needs into clear product requirements, specifying both frontend user experiences and backend functionality, including integrations with payroll, tax, and compliance services. You will work closely with Engineering to create detailed user stories, workflows, process diagrams, API requirements, and other technical documentation that support product development.


You will collaborate throughout the product lifecycle, partnering with Development and Quality Assurance teams to define features, validate functionality, resolve defects, and support testing efforts. In this role, you will lead the execution of initiatives within your assigned payroll and tax product areas, ensuring accurate, compliant, and scalable solutions while driving the resolution of product-related issues across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience defining detailed technical user stories and use cases

  • 5+ years of product management experience.

  • Be familiar with Agile processes and environments, and define key metrics for measuring product success

  • Strong background in project/program management for Payroll products.

  • Demonstrated experience building user experiences and platform capabilities for web products.

  • Have the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Must be flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues.
