Job summary

Certus Recruitment Group is seeking a Product Manager for an ambitious early-stage AI startup. You will own key product initiatives, driving one AI agent from discovery through continuous improvement.

You'll work closely with customers and engineers, delivering end-to-end ownership, with autonomy to shape product strategy and influence releases in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product management experience, ideally in an early-stage startup.
• Experience partnering closely with engineering teams.
• Strong requirements gathering, roadmaps and prioritisation skills.
• Customer-facing experience and ability to translate feedback into product improvements.
• Experience with AI products, CPQ platforms, quoting systems or pricing workflows is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own product initiatives and manage the lifecycle for AI-driven features.

The Role

You’ll own key product initiatives, taking responsibility for one of the company's AI agents and driving its development from customer discovery through to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning product requirements and writing clear, detailed specifications for engineering
• Managing the full product lifecycle for AI-driven features
• Working directly with customers to gather feedback and validate product direction
• Prioritising features based on customer value, effort and business impact
• Defining acceptance criteria, writing test cases and managing bug reporting
• Maintaining product roadmaps, documentation and customer communications
• Collaborating closely with engineering and leadership to deliver high-quality releases

About You

You’ll be an organised, customer-focused Product Manager who enjoys solving problems and building products that users genuinely love.

You’ll bring:

• 2+ years' product management experience
• A track record of delivering products in an early-stage startup environment
• Experience partnering closely with engineering teams
• Strong requirements gathering, roadmap management and prioritisation skills
• Customer-facing experience with the ability to translate feedback into product improvements
• Experience working with AI products, CPQ platforms, quoting systems or pricing workflows would be highly advantageous.
