Rec Gen in San Francisco is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to build ConTech and AI software atop a modern, scalable platform. You will own the full product lifecycle—from idea to shipped product to meaningful ARR—working with engineers, data analysts, and sales to translate customer needs into concrete roadmaps.

This role requires 2+ years in a data analyst, product, or technical role at a software company; at least 1 year with APIs, databases, or SQL; a builder who thrives in execution;

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst, product, or technical role at a software company (exceptional new grads with strong internships considered).
• At least 1 year working closely with APIs, databases, SQL, or similar tools.
• A hands-on builder who wants to be in the weeds of execution, not just strategy.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication.
• Comfortable running demos and negotiating with a range of customers.

Responsibilities

• Define what gets built by synthesizing signals from customers, analysts, sales, and the market.
• Lead cross-functional execution daily with product analysts, engineers, and account executives.
• Work directly with customers to uncover unmet needs.
• Own and prioritize the roadmap across a portfolio of products.

Product Manager | ConTech / AI SaaS | San Francisco

A profitable, well-funded startup is tackling a massive, overlooked opportunity: bringing modern software and AI to an industry still running on decades-old systems with no APIs and no documentation. Years of work have gone into proprietary infrastructure that competitors would take years to replicate, now powering AI-driven products for a growing base of paying customers.

The company is profitable, cash-flow positive, and growing fast off a recent raise from a top-tier VC. They’re hiring a hands-on, technical PM to build new products on top of this infrastructure, owning the full arc from idea to shipped product to meaningful ARR, then doing it again. No industry background needed.

What you’ll do:

• Define what gets built by synthesizing signals from customers, analysts, sales, and the market
• Lead cross-functional execution daily with product analysts, engineers, and account executives

• Based in or willing to relocate to SF, in‑person 5 days a week

Package: Competitive base $130-$200k + Equity
