Job description

About Summit

Summit Healthcare Technologies builds Summit, an AI-native EHR for outpatient clinics across the United States. Rather than bolting AI onto a legacy record system, we built the record, the workflow, and the intelligence as one platform: the visit is prepared before it starts, documented while it happens, and the note, orders, and follow-up are drafted and waiting for review afterward. Every AI output arrives as a proposal — the clinician reviews, edits, and signs.

We're in early access, onboarding a small cohort of clinics at a time and working with each practice directly through go-live. Registration, pre-visit preparation, the visit, and the chart and portal are running in clinics today; revenue cycle management, lab integrations, and radiology are in build.

About the Role

We're looking for a Product Manager with a strong software engineering foundation who can operate across customers, business teams, developers, and implementation teams.

This is a highly execution-oriented product role. You'll turn customer and business requirements into clear product direction, keep stakeholders aligned, and make sure work moves reliably from requirement to shipped implementation.

Because we onboard clinics in small cohorts and work with each one directly, this is a role with unusually short feedback loops: you'll hear a problem from a practice, shape the requirement, and see it land. It suits someone who wants to be close to real users rather than three layers removed from them.

What You Will Do
  • Own product requirements and priorities.
  • Work directly with customers to understand their needs and problems.
  • Translate customer and business requirements into clear, unambiguous specifications.
  • Partner closely with software engineers and technical teams.
  • Keep business, product, engineering, and implementation stakeholders aligned.
  • Own project timelines, dependencies, and schedules.
  • Track execution and surface blockers early, before they become delays.
  • Coordinate product releases and customer implementations.
  • Communicate product decisions clearly across teams.
  • Balance customer needs, business priorities, and engineering constraints.
  • Maintain strong documentation and execution discipline.
What We Are Looking For
  • 3–5 + years of experience in product management, technical program management, or a closely related role.
  • A strong software engineering or computer science foundation.
  • Experience working closely with software development teams.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management ability.
  • Ability to understand technical systems well enough to have credible conversations with engineers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and business stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership and follow-through.
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities and dependencies at once.
  • Practical product sense paired with strong execution.
Backgrounds That Fit Well
  • Software engineering → product management
  • Technical product management
  • Technical project management
  • Solutions engineering
  • Engineering leadership with product responsibilities

The strongest candidates will be able to show, with concrete examples, that they can sit in the middle of customers, business, engineering, and implementation teams and keep everyone aligned toward delivery.

International graduates and candidates working under OPT are welcome to apply.
