Job summary

Amivero seeks a Product Manager to guide delivery of features for a long-term federal project. You will align sprint goals with the product vision and work with cross-functional teams in a mission-driven government IT environment.

Responsibilities include refining user stories, accepting deliverables, managing backlogs, and ensuring outcomes meet DHS requirements, accessibility, and security standards. US citizenship and DHS Public Trust clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of directly related experience in product management, business analysis, or Agile delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding Agile teams and delivering features in iterative development environments.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Mural.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to balance business, technical, and policy requirements in product delivery.

  • Promote Agile principles across the team, supporting continuous delivery and iterative improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with policy, accessibility, and security standards in delivered features.
  • Engage with end users and stakeholders to validate product direction and ensure adoption.

Capabilities include AI to create and deploy digital assistant features within a larger system.TheProduct Manager guides the delivery of assigned features and components, ensuring alignment between sprint goals, product vision, and organizational priorities. This role partners closely with development teams to refine user stories, accept deliverables, and adjust plans based on feedback and evolving requirements. The Product Manager ensures features meet user needs, integrate effectively with workflows, and deliver measurable value to stakeholders.A stretch goal for the Product Managerwould be tolean in on automated testing and learn and implement tools like X-Ray to improve the accuracy and speed of testing.
