OTI’s Applications Division is seeking a visionary Product Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of high-profile, high-impact, and innovative digital applications such as the mayor’s key initiative, MyCity. MyCity comprises multiple services and service integrations for New Yorkers to more efficiently transact and track interactions with key City services in a one-stop-shop model. This role will be engaged with the MyCity product family or other OTI priorities. You will act as a Product Manager for multi-disciplinary product teams throughout the product lifecycle and into continuous delivery and support. You may also line manage, coach, and mentor others on the team.

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
2. An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
3. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
4. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
- 10+ years of experience leading multiple product development cycles for public-facing digital tools or services, from concept to launch.
- Experience working across ecosystems, platforms, and new technologies.
- Working knowledge of technical systems in order to understand engineering-driven prioritization trade-offs.
- Ability to persuade and align diverse partners and executives.
- Proven success in leading and coaching strong teams to deliver impactful products on time.
- Record of building product-centric delivery practices at scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in product development.
- Strong analytical and strategic focus on delivering an impactful and optimal user experience to New Yorkers.
- Self-motivated and proactive with ability to creatively solve problems.
- Best-in-class attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of bringing diverse groups and perspectives to work towards a common goal.
