Cloud and Things in NYC is seeking a Product Manager to translate the Integrated Eligibility System vision into actionable plans, define the roadmap, prioritize the backlog, and guide development from concept through launch while aligning business goals, user needs, and technology.

The role partners with stakeholders, Scrum teams, and developers to deliver user-centered solutions, measure performance, and drive continuous improvements in product value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Agile development experience (Scrum/Kanban).
• 10+ years of product management experience with integrated or complex systems incl. health and human services programs such as PA, TA, SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, or Child Support.
• 7+ years leading complex projects, including 2+ years in a Specialist leadership role.
• 7+ years of backlog management experience.
• 7+ years building technical products from ideation through launch.
• 7+ years managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• 7+ years using Jira/Confluence or similar PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog so high-value features are developed first.
• Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements for the development team.
• Serve as the main liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead sprint planning with the Scrum Master and team to support timely feature delivery.
• Advocate for end users and promote user-centric design to ensure a strong UX.
• Monitor product performance post-launch, gather feedback, and drive iterative improvements to value.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: 31 Months (with potential for extension)

W2 Hourly Rate: $90-$115/hour

Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager who will support our NYC client. This role will translate the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) vision into actionable product plans by defining the roadmap, prioritizing the backlog, and guiding product development from concept through launch while aligning business goals, user needs, and technology. The Product Manager will partner closely with stakeholders, Scrum teams, and development teams to deliver user-centered solutions and continuously improve product value based on performance and feedback.

Duties

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog so the highest-value features are developed first.
• Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements to guide the development team.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, maintaining transparency and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead sprint planning sessions in partnership with the Scrum Master and development team to support timely feature delivery.
• Advocate for the end user and promote user-centric design to ensure products deliver an effective user experience.
• Monitor product performance after launch, gather user feedback, and drive iterative improvements to product value and effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working with Agile development processes and methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• 10+ years of product management experience with integrated or complex systems, including at least 1 year supporting health and human services and Integrated Eligibility System programs such as PA, TA, SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, or Child Support.
• 7+ years of experience working on complex projects, including 2+ years in a leadership role as a Specialist.
• 7+ years of experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs.
• 7+ years of experience building technical products from ideation through launch.
• 7+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• 7+ years of experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar project management software.
