HireCapital is seeking a Senior Product Manager for hardware+software products to own the path from customer problem to deployment. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to turn pilot programs into scalable deployments in real-world environments.

The role requires hands-on customer insight, cross-functional leadership, and an engineering mindset in a fast-growing setting. In-person work in the Greater Los Angeles area with equity and growth opportunities.

Senior Product Manager, Technical Products / Hardware + Software

Full-Time

Overview

A growing technology company is hiring a Senior Product Manager as it moves from successful customer pilots into larger commercial deployments.

The product combines hardware and software and is used in complex physical environments where traceability, quality, compliance, and operational reliability matter.

This is not a traditional SaaS Product Manager role. The strongest fit will bring an engineering mindset, genuine product experience, and the ability to understand how technology actually fits into a customer's operation.

The Role

You’ll own the path from customer problem to product requirements to deployment.

That means getting close to customers, understanding how their workflows really operate, identifying the underlying problem, and translating those needs into something engineering can build and customers can successfully implement.

You’ll work closely across customers, engineering, operations, and leadership while helping the company turn individual pilots into repeatable, scalable deployments.

What You’ll Do

• Product management, technical product leadership, or closely related experience.
• Strong engineering foundation, particularly mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, systems, electrical, or a related discipline.
• Experience with products that connect software with hardware, physical systems, or real-world operations.
• Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, distribution, automation, production, or similarly complex environments.
• Experience in regulated, compliance-driven, or quality-critical settings.
• Strong customer empathy and the ability to uncover the real problem behind a stated requirement.
• Excellent communication skills across technical, operational, and business audiences.
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where the playbook may still need to be built.

The role is primarily in-person in the Greater Los Angeles area and works closely with engineering while maintaining significant individual ownership.
