Product Manager

Job summary

System One is seeking a Product Manager to partner with development teams to reduce friction in internal tools, run pilots, empathy sessions, and surveys, and translate feedback into actionable backlog items and prioritized roadmap recommendations.

You will collaborate with Platform Engineering, Product, UX and engineering teams to shape priorities, define and track DX KPIs/OKRs, and own communications around launches, enhancements, and roadmap updates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, program management, developer experience, or a related delivery role.
• Comfortable leading pilots, focus groups, empathy sessions, and surveys to gather real feedback.
• Skilled at turning qualitative and quantitative input into clear, prioritized product decisions.
• Experience defining and tracking KPIs/OKRs around adoption, satisfaction, and productivity.
• Background supporting product launches, rollout plans, and change communications.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management — able to work across engineering, UX, and product teams.
• Familiarity with Developer Experience (DX) or Internal Developer Platform (IDP) concepts.
• Exposure to developer tooling like Backstage, GitLab CI/CD, or developer portals.
• Background in product discovery, experimentation, or user research.
• Educational requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
