Job summary

FBS is seeking a Product Manager to build products customers love by working with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll out solutions aligned with the company vision.

You will understand customer journeys, translate strategy into actionable development, and partner with Design, Engineering and Sales to drive adoption. This role may be remote for non-Fargo candidates and requires strong business and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in product management, product planning or program management.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development.
• MS/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the real estate industry, especially with MLSs, is a huge plus.
• Experience building enterprise technology platforms highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of core customer experiences and become an expert in a complex product.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize value-centric customer outcomes to grow market share and drive growth.
• Create buy-in for the product vision internally and with external partners as the face of the product.
• Translate company and product strategy into iterative development within a cross-functional squad.
• Talk to customers weekly and work with Design and User Research to prototype and test ideas.
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
• Work with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market.
• Provide input into product launches with related FBS teams.
• Represent the company by soliciting feedback on products and services.

A Product Manager is passionate about building products that customers love, working with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll‑out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

What you'll do:

• Gain a deep understanding of core customer experiences and become an expert in a complex, wide ranging product.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize value centric customer outcomes and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experiences, and drive growth.
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners as the face of the product.
• Translate company and product strategy into iterative development within a cross functional squad.
• Talk to your customers weekly and work with Design and User Research teams to create prototypes and final designs for assumption testing and development.
• Run parallel discovery and development paths within a feature squad.
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time‑to‑market.
• Provide input into product launches while working with related FBS teams.
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
• Represent the company by working closely with customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Proven working experience in product management, product planning or program management.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands‑on experience in software development.
• Problem‑solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills presenting your ideas at all levels of the organization.
• MS/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the real estate industry, especially with MLSs, is a huge plus.
• Experience building enterprise technology platforms highly preferred.
• Experience with Continuous Discovery Habits a plus.
• Comfortable working in a remote capacity if you are not located in Fargo, ND.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
