At LINQ, we get K12. That’s why we help districts transform K-12 school operations with best-in-class, cloud-based software solutions built to help districts return more resources to classrooms. Integrating finance, HR, nutrition management, and payments into a single, secure platform, LINQ reduces administrative burden. Our team? They’re talented, committed, and fiercely loyal problem-solvers. At LINQ, you’ll find challenging and meaningful work, a team that respects and uplifts one another, and a commitment to constant improvement. Our customers love us because we’re attentive, patient, communicative, and solutions focused. They know they can count on us to not only anticipate their needs but to deliver the right answer every time.

  • Collaborate & Act as One Team: Diverse skills, ideas, and perspectives are our strength. Through open communication, shared goals, and a spirit of unity and mutual respect, we collaborate to achieve excellence, drive innovation, and propel our company forward as a cohesive force.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the full product lifecycle for a complex, high-stakes product area - LINQ Connect and School Fees. LINQ Connect is our flagship parent-facing product, the way families fund their child's meal account, pay school fees, and see what’s on the lunch menu. As our primary B2C offering, LINQ Connect and its supporting features are a critical engagement platform for districts connecting with families.

As the Senior PM, you set the strategy for your domain, own the roadmap, lead customer engagement, and drive delivery outcomes without waiting to be directed. You are the recognized expert for your product, internally and with customers, and you partner with engineering leadership on architectural decisions that shape the platform long term. Given you’ll be working on products in a complex and regulated domain, your execution and judgement in prioritization will have real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the product lifecycle for LINQ Connect and School Fees: discovery, requirements, prioritization, delivery, and post-launch iteration.

  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that balances near-term customer needs with longer-term platform investments and business goals.

  • Lead customer engagement – advisory boards, user research, interviews – and translate insights into strategic direction.

  • Assess product capabilities, backlog health, and competitive positioning to set priorities across competing demand.

  • Partner with engineering leadership on technical architecture decisions, platform investments, and technical debt trade-offs.

  • Build and communicate business cases for significant investments, with clear framing of alternatives and trade-offs.

  • Identify and champion cross-team dependencies, negotiate effectively, and surface risks before they become blockers.

  • Operate as the recognized subject-matter expert for your domain, internally and with customers.

  • Mentor PMs and APMs, raising the quality of product work across the team.

  • Contribute to broader product strategy discussions, bringing data-driven perspectives and a clear point of view.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5 or more years of product management experience on SaaS product or equivalent practical experience. Experience managing applications on a meaningful scale (hundreds of thousands of active users) is a plus.

  • Demonstrated success owning consumer-facing (B2C) native mobile products on both iOS and Android platforms. Demonstrated experience owning a complex product area with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and real tradeoffs.

  • Direct experience partnering with engineering teams at the architecture level – not just ticket execution.

  • Sound judgment on what to build and what not to build, with demonstrated ability to defend those calls clearly.

  • Strong client-facing experience, including regular customer engagement to understand needs, challenges, and outcomes.

  • Experience building and communicating product roadmaps and business cases to senior stakeholders.

  • Strong strategic thinking – you can zoom out, see the market, and connect product decisions to business outcomes.

  • Technical fluency— comfortable with API-based integrations, data architecture, native mobile nuances, and infrastructure tradeoffs.

  • Comfortable making decisions and owning outcomes in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.

  • Collaborative but direct – you surface disagreements and drive to resolution rather than avoiding conflict.

  • Experience in a relevant domain (payments, K-12 EdTech, HR/payroll, ERP, finance, compliance) preferred.

  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate work and brings curiosity about how AI can help the team validate ideas faster, both internally and with customers.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in any field, or equivalent practical experience. Domain expertise and demonstrated PM craft carry more weight than academic background.

Travel Requirements

Less than 10%.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000-$150,000 + a 4% annual bonus.
