Job summary

ADVANCE.AI is hiring a Product Manager to own, design, and deliver products enabled by the Advance Tier license. You will bridge regulators, data partners, data science, and engineering to turn regulatory access into monetizable solutions.

The role focuses on translating regulatory privileges into concrete APIs and features, ensuring compliance, and driving commercial value across lenders, fintechs, BNPLs, and banks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field.
• 5–10+ years experience as a Product Manager (data, platform, risk, fintech preferred).
• Experience with regulated products (financial services, credit, data, payments, gov-linked systems).
• Ability to translate ambiguous regulatory requirements into executable product specs.

Responsibilities

• Own the Advance Tier product roadmap end-to-end from license capability to product design and GTM.
• Translate regulatory privileges into concrete product features and APIs.
• Define products possible under Advance Tier vs Basic Tier and their commercial impact.
• Collaborate with regulators, data partners, data science, engineering, legal and commercial teams to turn regulatory access into monetizable products.
• Write PRDs/BRDs with clear problem framing and oversee delivery milestones, UAT, and production launch.

About The Role

We are hiring a Product Manager to own, design, and deliver products and capabilities enabled by the Advance Tier license. This role sits at the intersection of regulation, data, risk, and commercial outcomes, not just UI features.

You will work closely with regulators, data partners, data science (Regional), engineering (Regional), legal/compliance, and commercial teams to turn regulatory access into real, monetizable products.

Key Responsibilities

• Advance Tier Product Ownership
• Own the Advance Tier product roadmap end-to-end (from license capability → product design → GTM).
• Translate regulatory privileges (e.g. data access, logic control, response SLAs) into concrete product features and APIs.
• Define what products are only possible under Advance Tier vs Basic Tier—and why they matter commercially.
• Regulatory & Compliance Alignment
  • Work closely with regulators, compliance, and legal to ensure all product designs adhere to Advance Tier conditions.
  • Understand and operationalize constraints around:
    • Data usage & purpose limitation
    • Data retention & auditability
    • Model governance and explainability
  • Act as the product “bridge” between regulator language and engineering execution.
• Data & Risk Product Design
  • Partner with Data Science to:
    • Improve hit-rate, match logic, and fuzzy matching
    • Enable configurable rules, scoring logic, and segmentation
  • Define product requirements for:
    • Advanced credit reports
    • Enhanced scoring & attributes
    • Portfolio monitoring & alerts
    • Risk & compliance-ready APIs
• Commercial Enablement & Value Realization
  • Work with Sales, Presales, and Partnerships to:
    • Craft clear value propositions for lenders, fintechs, BNPLs, and banks
    • Support pricing, packaging, and tier differentiation
    • Ensure Advance Tier products deliver measurable uplift (e.g. hit-rate, approval rate, risk reduction, revenue).
• Delivery & Cross-Functional Execution
  • Write clear PRDs / BRDs with strong problem framing, not just feature lists.
  • Work with:
    • Engineering (local & regional teams)
    • Data Science
    • QA & Ops
  • Own delivery milestones, UAT readiness, and production launch quality.

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field
• 5-10+ years experience as a Product Manager (data, platform, risk, or fintech preferred)
• Experience working with regulated products (financial services, credit, data, payments, gov-linked systems)
• Strong ability to translate ambiguous regulatory requirements into executable product specs
• Comfortable working with APIs, data schemas, scoring logic, and system flows
• Strong stakeholder management across business, tech, and compliance

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in:
  • Credit bureau, lending, BNPL, banking, or fintech
  • Risk models, scoring, or alternative data
• Prior exposure to:
  • Regulatory licenses or sandbox environments
  • Data-heavy or API-first platforms
• Ability to communicate in English + Mandarin (to work with regional tech teams)
